Last week I got uber excited because our clients Final Salute Inc asked me to travel with them to Hollywood, California. The purpose of the trip was to see the venue for the 2018 Ms. Veteran America competition. The American Legion Post 43 in Hollywood.
This is the third year we have produced the Ms. Veteran America event and moving it to Hollywood is exciting in itself. Ms. Veteran America competition highlights more than the strength, courage, and sacrifice of our nations military women, but also reminds us that these women are Mothers, Daughters, Sisters and Wives. They have successfully provided more than 12,600 transitional housing days for women seeking a home. That and raising more than $370,000 deserves a praise dance.
As an Army Veteran, this organization and their mission is close to me. Hosting the Ms. Veteran America competition at the American Legion Post 43 in Hollywood, California is icing on the cake. The American Legion Post 43 is in the heart of downtown Hollywood. The Hollywood Walk of Fame is a few blocks from our new Hollywood, California venue.

The American Legion has been around since 1919. Their primary mission is to lobby on behalf of veterans and service members. Two of their biggest accomplishments is the GI Bill and the Veterans Health Administration.
From the outside of the building you would never imagine that it has the capability of hosting more than 470 people in their main theater. Currently they are undergoing some really impressive renovations to the theater to ensure guests are comfortable during corporate events at the American Legion Post 43. Overall the venue has 6 incredible spaces to host an event of various sizes.

As you can see this is impressive renovations will make the venue look more modern. Red is my current favorite color so I’m bias to the carpet and siding LOL.
The Legion also has a grand registration area to include an adjacent room that is perfect for a cocktail party. Below the theater there is another large room that can easily seat 120 guests. The American Legion has hosted Halloween parties, karaoke, swing dancing, and retirements. They have their own bar which is very popular I hear. If you are a military veteran living in Hollywood, California, I highly recommend swinging by this venue to see its rich history.
I am a big advocate in using a variety of events to meet your corporate needs. Places like this is one of many ways to extend the imagination while also highlighting a great charitable organization. We love our hotels, but there are far too many other venues to host corporate events and social events at.
