Ashley and Damion DC micro wedding was held at the Perry Belmont House among fashionable friends and family. Ashley reached out to us in May out of concerns of the pandemic. She stated, “our wedding was scheduled for 2/14/21 at the Georgetown Westin, but have canceled due to the pandemic. My fiancé and I decided to elope and but we are also interested in the Micro Wedding experience.”

Since Ashley and Damion scheduled their elopement in September, the goal was to allow that to take place first. It also allowed their Officiant to participate in the DC intimate wedding in the coming months. During our initial phases of the micro wedding packages, 4 couples would marry on the same day. It offers the couples a chance to share the cost of big ticket items like the venue and schedule separate times for their ceremony. Because of this, Damion and Ashley moved their original request by one month.

Ashley and Damion DC Micro Wedding Venue – Perry Belmont House

The Perry Belmont House has been one of our go to venues for micro weddings. Once couples enter into the space, they simply fall in love. The staircase commands attention as soon as you enter into the building. The venue offers a beautiful suite for getting ready and taking intimate photos for either side of the wedding party.

The Perry Belmont House can easily house up to 150 guests in its main ballroom. But for intimate weddings during COVID-19, the Petite Salon and Grand Salon have been our ideal spaces for ceremonies and receptions. You can see more of the DC wedding venue Perry Belmont House here.

Wedding Day Experience

Damion and Ashley invited 25 of their closes guests to experience their wedding day. Damion and his Best Man took advantage of getting ready at the Belmont House. Ashley took the time to prepare at their hotel which was nearby.

Their guests arrived via shuttle service and sat patiently as the wedding ceremony began in the Petite Salon. As Share My Life sung by Kem played, Damion entered into the ceremony space. Ashley chose Bridal March by The Violin Sisters. Both Damion and Ashley looked like the total definition of a glamorous couple who were beaming with excitement.

Intimate photos started for Ashley and Damion while guests enjoyed champagne in the Grand Salon. One of the benefits of a micro wedding has been the ability to take photos with more of your guests. Traditionally, the portraits taken during cocktail hour are only available for the wedding party and immediate family.
